NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, at the City Council Chambers 440 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond, California, the City Council of the City of Richmond and the Successor Agency to the Richmond Community Redevelopment Agency will conduct a joint public hearing to consider the approval of the Successor Agency’s transfer of certain real property to the City, the receipt and approval of a Summary Report prepared pursuant to Government Code section 52201, and the approval of a Disposition and Development Agreement (“DDA”) between the City and SAA-EVI Richmond Partners, LLC, a California limited liability company. The DDA would authorize the sale and development of approximately 3.83 acres of real property located on the two blocks bounded by Nevin Avenue, 13th Street, Macdonald Avenue, and 11th Street.  The site is proposed to be developed as a mixed-use project including commercial retail space, public space, parking and residential uses, including affordable rental units.  The Summary Report and DDA are available for review in the City Manager’s Office, third floor of the Richmond City Hall, 450 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond CA, and on the City’s website at http://www.ci.richmond.ca.us/OpportunitySites.

Development Opportunity Update: RFQ/P - Metro Walk Phase II at Richmond, CA Multi-Modal Transit Station (BART, Amtrak & AC Transit)

The Richmond City Council on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, 6:30 PM (Community Services Building, 440 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond, CA  94804) shortlisted two firms for the Metro Walk Phase II development project:  

J-1. RECEIVE presentations for the development of the Metro Walk Phase II at Richmond Multi-Modal Transit Station project (Project), DESIGNATE a development team for the Project, and AUTHORIZE the City Manager and Executive Director of the Successor Agency to assign the existing Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) for the Project to the designated development team, and to negotiate and execute all necessary amendments to the DDA and agreements with the designated development team to effectuate the development of the Project - City Manager's Office (Shasa Curl/Gabino Arredondo 620-6606).
